Marcilhac through the Célé valley
(2 days / 1 night)

From Mas de Peyrelongue, we descend into the valley towards Marcilhac sur Célé. This little stretch of a less-frequented variant of the Chemin de St Jacques will take you past authentic villages and monuments, the shady banks of the river and the steep paths of our cliffs... Two days in a timeless setting, simply magical.
Level required: horseback riding for riders comfortable at all three paces.

Super-Cayrou hike
(2 days / 1 night)

From Mas de Peyrelongue, head for Gréalou, on the other side of the Célé. Built at the top of the Pech Laglaire hill, the Super Cayrou is a contemporary work of architecture in the dry-stone style of the historic cazelles of the Causses du Quercy. From the exceptional 360° view to the discovery of ancient dolmens, this is a hike that's sure to leave you with incredible memories.
Level required: horseback riding for riders comfortable at all three paces.

  • Supply of the cavalry adapted to your level
  • supply of riding equipment: mixed English saddles, harnesses, grooming equipment, small hiking bags, approved helmet
  • Supervision by a professional with an ATE or BPJEPS diploma
  • First aid kit available during the hike

Not included in the price

  • FFE license required for rides longer than one day - if you don't have one, we can get you a green license (10€)
  • Beverages and souvenirs at the boutique du Mas

Recommendations on Proper Dress

  • Riding pants or jeans

  • Riding boots or boots with mini-chaps
  • In rainy weather, Kway or waterproof jacket suitable for riding

Small trekking bags are available for the riders. However, the EARL Mas de Peyrelongue is not responsible in case of loss, breakage or theft.


Access to Mas de Peyrelongue

- From the A20 motorway: take exit n°56 towards Figeac. Follow the D802 for 38 km until you reach the Jérôme Estival garage (red gate on your left). Turn right towards Peyrelongue. The Mas is 500 meters away.
- From Figeac: take the direction of the A20 motorway. Follow the D822, then the D802 for 15 km until the Jérôme Estival garage (red gate on your right). Turn left towards Peyrelongue. The Mas is 500 meters away.
