The Program
Want to take a break? Join us for a few days at Mas de Peyrelongue. On the program, 3 hikes, good meals, relaxation in the middle of nature and unforgettable memories!
- Saturday: You arrive at the Mas de Peyrelongue in the late afternoon. After a visit of the property and a first meeting with our horses, we will share a drink and dinner.
- Sunday: After breakfast, departure for a first ride in two stages with a picnic at the Puy-Blanc ponds, a protected natural area on the site of an old clay quarry. Four hours of horseback riding on the program. On your return to the Mas, relaxation and gourmet dinner.
-
Monday: Breakfast at the Mas. Today's hike will take you to Christophe, our favorite wine merchant, where a tasting workshop of local wines awaits you. This is followed by a pleasant picnic of local produce, before continuing down the valley and returning to the Mas in the late afternoon. Dinner at the Mas.
- Tuesday: Breakfast at the Mas. We return to our mounts for a third day on horseback. After a descent into the valley through the authentic village of Corn, you'll pass the mysterious Bual spring, take a wooded section of the Chemin de St Jacques before a well-deserved lunch break at the Espagnac priory. A magnificent hike with an incredible diversity of landscapes. Dinner at the Mas for a final warm evening.
- Wednesday : Breakfast at the Mas and departure. Why not plan a last little detour via one of the many wonders that make the Lot so pleasant to live in? You can, if you wish, stay one or two extra nights at the Mas, excluding horseback riding activities.
Accommodation
We welcome you in our traditional Mas recently renovated. On the ground floor, you will appreciate the original paving made of Causse stones, the traditional fireplace (Cantou) and our lounge area giving directly onto the shaded terrace, the private garden and our large swimming pool.
On the first floor, three bedrooms allow us to welcome up to 6 participants maximum and guarantee you a warm and family atmosphere. The bathroom, shared, is composed of two independent shower cubicles and the toilets are separate. A small reading area is installed in the patio.
Finally, the Mas is surrounded by 50 hectares of varied nature in the middle of which our horses live. You will be able to walk and ride along the paths, on foot or on horseback, and discover our outdoor photographic exhibition.
Meals
All meals are included in the price of our stay and form an integral part of the Mas de Peyrelongue experience.
The Lot is well known for its gastronomy. So we're going to honor it and offer you tasty, home-cooked dishes with fresh produce throughout your stay. We offer a vegetarian/vegan menu option for those who prefer it.
Our Horses
More than thirty equines live on the property in large parks. Of various sizes and breeds, they are all educated in the respect of their nature and their personality, according to a behavioral approach.
